Collection: Haemorrhoids
What are Haemorrhoids (Piles)?
Haemorrhoids, commonly known as piles, are swollen veins in the rectum or anus that cause pain, itching, bleeding, and discomfort, especially during or after bowel movements. They may be internal (inside the rectum) or external (under the skin around the anus).
Common triggers include constipation, prolonged sitting, straining during bowel movements, pregnancy, obesity, and low-fiber diets. If left untreated, haemorrhoids can become enlarged, inflamed, or prolapsed, leading to increased discomfort.
Managing haemorrhoids naturally involves soothing inflammation, improving digestion and circulation, and softening stools to reduce pressure and support healing.

Natural Ways to Manage & Prevent Haemorrhoids
Increase Fiber Intake – Add more fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains to your diet to soften stools and prevent straining.
Stay Well Hydrated – Drink at least 6–8 glasses of water daily to support healthy bowel movements.
Use a Warm Sitz Bath – Soak in warm water for 10–15 minutes daily to soothe pain, reduce itching, and improve circulation in the area.
Apply Castor Oil Topically – Gently massage castor oil onto external haemorrhoids to reduce swelling and discomfort.
Exercise Gently – Activities like walking or yoga improve blood flow and help prevent pressure buildup in the lower rectum.
Avoid Straining – Use a footstool to elevate your feet while on the toilet to encourage a more natural, strain-free bowel movement.
Switch to Natural Wipes – Use alcohol-free, fragrance-free wipes or soft cloths instead of rough toilet paper to prevent further irritation.
