What is Gallbladder Cancer?
Gallbladder cancer is a rare but aggressive form of cancer that originates in the gallbladder a small organ located beneath the liver that stores bile to aid in digestion. In its early stages, gallbladder cancer often presents with little to no symptoms, making it difficult to detect. As the disease progresses, symptoms may include persistent abdominal pain (especially in the upper right side), jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), nausea, bloating, and unintended weight loss.
Gallbladder cancer is commonly associated with chronic inflammation of the gallbladder, gallstones, infections, and certain genetic factors. Because of its silent onset and potential to spread quickly, early detection and a comprehensive treatment plan are essential.
Managing gallbladder cancer naturally focuses on supporting the immune system, reducing systemic inflammation, and enhancing overall cellular health — always alongside appropriate medical care.
